Kia India has published its July 2026 offer sheet, and the Carens Clavis EV headlines the list with benefits of up to Rs 1.8 lakh. The bulk of that saving is reserved for MY25 stock, while the current MY26 cars get a more modest package. All Kia models except the EV6 and EV9 carry offers this month.

What was announced

Kia India's July 2026 consumer offers cover almost the entire range, with the Carens Clavis EV leading on absolute rupee value. Benefits are stacked from cash discount, loyalty bonus, corporate discount and either an exchange or scrappage bonus. Actual figures vary by city and stock, and Kia has confirmed benefits differ sharply between MY25 and MY26 stock.

The Rs 1.8 lakh headline is a MY25 clearance number, not a price cut on the Carens Clavis EV you actually want to walk into a showroom and order.

The Carens Clavis EV is offered with 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs and is priced between roughly Rs 18 lakh and Rs 25 lakh ex-showroom, making it India's most affordable electric MPV. The EV6 and EV9 are excluded from July offers; the Carnival, Seltos, Sonet and ICE Carens carry their own separate benefit structures this month.

The Car Jury verdict

Rs 1.8 lakh sounds heavy, but read the fine print. Only MY25 Carens Clavis EV units unlock the full stack: Rs 80,000 cash, Rs 20,000 loyalty, and up to Rs 75,000 exchange or scrappage. MY26 buyers get Rs 55,000 at best. If you are fine with a previous model-year VIN and the warranty clock starting from the same registration date, the MY25 deal is the sharper buy on India's only sub-Rs 25 lakh electric MPV.

The wider read: Kia is clearing EV inventory, not signalling a permanent price cut. That matters if you are cross-shopping the MG Windsor EV (TCJ: WAIT) as a family hauler. For petrol Carens intenders, our Carens review still reads WAIT; the ICE car does not get this scale of benefit.
