2026 Brezza On-Road Prices Are Out: Top Trim Crosses Rs 16 Lakh
Maruti Suzuki has published on-road prices for the 2026 Brezza across major Indian cities, following its recent midlife update. The refreshed compact SUV now spans Rs 8.26 lakh to Rs 16.81 lakh on-road, with a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol joining the existing 1.5 petrol, AT and CNG options.
What was announced
Maruti Suzuki has listed on-road prices for the updated 2026 Brezza across metros. Ex-showroom, the range spans Rs 7.40 lakh to Rs 13.55 lakh across four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. The headline mechanical change is a new 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol, which joins the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (manual and torque converter automatic) and the 1.5 CNG. The midlife update also brings minor design tweaks and added features.
At Rs 16.81 lakh on-road, the top Brezza is playing in Kushaq territory, and it does not have the chassis to justify being there.
On-road, the Brezza now starts at Rs 8.26 lakh in Delhi for the 1.0 turbo-petrol manual and stretches to Rs 16.81 lakh in Bengaluru for the 1.5 petrol automatic top trim.

CNG is offered only on the 1.5 petrol; the new 1.0 turbo-petrol is manual-only at launch.
The Car Jury verdict
The Brezza remains the safe, easy choice in the compact SUV segment, and the midlife update keeps it that way rather than reinventing anything. Kranti Sambhav of Motor Inc calls it "the car that's generally more chill" in this class, which is the honest read: it is undramatic, light on the wallet to run, and backed by the widest service net in India. Gagan Choudhary sums up the brand DNA as Maruti's simple funda of getting the engine department right.
But at Rs 16.81 lakh on-road for a top ZXi+ automatic, the Brezza is now bumping into Skoda Kushaq territory, which offers a proper 1.5 TSI and a stronger chassis. Our stance on the Brezza stays WAIT: the base petrol and CNG make sense, the top trim does not.
