2026 Scorpio N Facelift Cabin Spied: Thar Roxx's Twin Screens Are Coming

Fresh spy images of the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift have surfaced, showing a redesigned cabin borrowed heavily from the Thar Roxx. Mahindra is expected to launch the updated SUV on 14 August 2026, sticking to its Independence Day product-reveal tradition, with exterior tweaks and a substantially upgraded feature list.
What was announced
Mahindra is expected to launch the 2026 Scorpio N facelift on 14 August 2026, in line with the brand's practice of using Independence Day eve for major product reveals over the past several years. Latest spy shots focus on the cabin, which is where the bulk of the update sits. Exterior revisions are expected to be evolutionary rather than a redesign.
The Scorpio N did not need a redesign; it needed the equipment gap to the Thar Roxx closed, and that is exactly what is happening.
The clearest change inside is a new freestanding infotainment touchscreen that is visibly larger than the current unit. The layout in the spy images closely mirrors the Thar Roxx, which uses a 10.25-inch central touchscreen paired with a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display. The Scorpio N facelift appears to adopt the same twin-screen configuration, replacing the current SUV's smaller touchscreen and semi-digital instrument cluster.
This equipment jump aligns the Scorpio N with the Thar Roxx and the newer BE6 and XEV 9E electrics, closing the gap that had opened between the Scorpio N and Mahindra's own more recent launches. Powertrains are expected to carry over largely unchanged, with the 2.0-litre mStallion petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel continuing in their existing states of tune. Prices have not been indicated, but a modest increase over the current range (which starts around Rs 13.99 lakh ex-showroom) is likely given the added kit.
The Car Jury verdict
The Scorpio N did not need a redesign; it needed the equipment gap to the Thar Roxx closed. That is exactly what these spy shots suggest is happening, and it is the right call. Faisal Khan of FasBeam notes on the wider facelift trend that Mahindra has handled the update well, replacing older chrome-heavy detailing with cleaner surfaces. That instinct carries over to the cabin here.
Biturbo Media rates Mahindra among their top two picks in the segment, and this update protects that position against the Fortuner and a resurgent Tata Safari. Our existing Scorpio N verdict is already a BUY, and a twin 10.25-inch screen setup only strengthens that case. If you were waiting for the cabin to feel modern, wait six weeks, then buy.
